TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – The Terre Haute Flag Committee is partnering with Arts Illiana to open a flag storefront downtown.
The committee is also in the process of taking pre-orders from residents for 3×5 flags. The flags will be manufactured once the committee reaches 200 pre-orders.
Committee President Ethan Page said he is looking forward to bringing the flag design into reality.
“What we see coming from this is a lot of city unity,” said Page. “A lot of unity with our citizens, finally having a symbol to show off for a community that we haven’t had before. Something we can hang outside our doors, outside our homes, inside our homes, etcetera. When you’re in that place, you’re passing by that place, you know that you love your city.”
