ROCKVILLE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— Three teens were arrested on Friday in connection to a burglary that took place at the Tiki Hut near Rockville.
According to documents from Parke County Sheriff’s Department, a burglary at The Tiki Hut occurred at around 7:55 a.m. on November 15. During the investigation, a search warrant was served for a home in Montezuma, and 18-year-old David Brown was taken into custody. Shortly after another search warrant brought deputies and Montezuma Police Department officers to a home in Judson where a 17-year-old juvenile was taken into custody. Shortly after leaving the home a third suspect, 18-year-old Johnathan Sosbe from Crawfordsville, was located at a home in Rockville and taken into custody.
The two 18-year-olds were taken to Parke County Jail and are currently incarcerated. The juvenile was taken to Vigo County Juvenile Detention Center. They are all charged with one count of level 4 felony burglary. During the investigation, deputies were able to recover most of the stolen items consisting of nicotine vapes, delta 8 cartridges, and bottles of alcohol.
