TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— According to a release from INDOT, Interstate 70 will be experiencing temporary nighttime lane closures eastbound.
INDOT says they expect the closures to begin on December 2. Crews will be alternating the lane closures on Interstate 70 eastbound between U.S. Highway 40 and State Road 46 just four miles west of Brazil, Indiana. The work will take place overnight however from the hours of 8 p.m. to 9 a.m.
Crews will be performing these nighttime lane closures in an effort to patch the pavement through the stretch of interstate. Work is scheduled to finish by late December, but that is dependent on weather conditions. INDOT encourages all drivers to travel cautiously through their work zones and avoid distracted driving.
