TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— After reaching out to Jersey Mike’s, a representative has stated that the expected opening date is December 11.
Jersey Mike’s is set to open its first location in Terre Haute in Riverside Plaza. The original opening was set for September of this year but had to be pushed back. Those looking for another spot for a submarine sandwich should only have a few weeks for the new option to become available.
WTWO had previously reported that the new location’s general manager had already been hired and was undergoing training back in late June after speaking with a representative. This general manager was also in charge of hiring the 25-person staff that will be on duty including 8 full-time positions.
Jersey Mike’s is a fast-casual sandwich shop with more than 4,000 locations open and in development. Jersey Mike’s boasts that they use fresh baked bread and ingredients in their subs and has been doing so for 68 years.
