Terre Haute, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— The Terre Haute Symphony Orchestra (THSO) Brass Quartet will be holding a free concert for the holiday season.
The show will be held at 2 p.m. on December 4 to start off the holiday season. The event is open to the public and will be held at Ivy Tech’s Oakley Auditorium. The name of the show is “Seasonal Sounds” and according to the news release will feature, “your favorite tunes to kick off the holiday season”.
The THSO Brass Quartet features lead musicians of the THSO including Jay Ellsmore on trumpet, Brian Kilp on horn, Randy Mitchell on trombone, Glen Dimick on tuba, and joining them on trumpet will be Connor Tipton.
This will be the second year the THSO has come to Ivy Tech after last year’s partnership went well and even allowed agriculture students to sell poinsettias to raise funds.
