TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – A local dentist office showed its appreciation to veterans on Friday.
Elite Smiles Dental in Terre Haute provided free dental visits Friday, November 8, to veterans.
Associate Dentist Mark Schmitz said they had over 60 veterans scheduled for a free appointment.
“We were just thinking of ways we can give back to veterans and it came down to, what’s the best way that we know how, and that’s to deliver excellent dental care to our veterans. So, we wanted to do that last year and we had a great success, and we wanted to replicate that today, only bigger,” said Schmitz.
This is the second year Elite Smiles Dental has held this event.
