GREENE COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — This Saturday Greene County Health is partnering with Indiana University to host a health and wellness fair in Jasonville.
It is going to include free health services such as blood pressure screenings, teeth and gum screenings, and even Narcan kits and overdose prevention training. There will also be a blood drive, free haircuts, and dozens of local wellness resources.
Community health worker Wendy Bailey said that this allows them to bring high quality resources to smaller areas.
“I am happy for our community because this is not a common thing that we do here ever since COVID and Jasonville has never had a health fair of this magnitude,” said Bailey. “For them to be able to be hosting this is an exciting thing for the town of Jasonville.”
The fair will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Greene County Health location in Jasonville.
