TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Sunday, the Council on Domestic Abuse held their first ever Pup-a-ween event.
With the weather, they said it was a great success.
For just $25, you could dress your dog up in a Halloween costume and bring them to Dobbs Park.
There, CODA had prizes, dog games, and dog treats for the furry friends.
Guests also had a chance to win money in a raffle.
CODA says the idea was to spread awareness that they are a pet-friendly organization.
Plus, all the money raised during the event will be going to a CODA pet-friendly shelter.
It’s going to fund our emergency shelter. We are at full capacity. We typically have about 42 people inside the shelter and some of those people do have their pets with them.
