TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Terre Haute fire crews reported to the scene of two structure fires in the 400 block of Gilbert Avenue, Thursday morning.
A captain with the Terre Haute Fire Department says a house and detached garage went up in flames; both are considered a total loss.
Investigators say there were no utilities running to the home and appeared to be vacant. No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
