TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— On October 25 Vigo County Public Library will be holding a Halloween event from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. with games and a book giveaway.
As part of downtown Terre Haute’s Halloween Haute event, Vigo County Public Library will be giving away books to families that visit. There will also be games to play and people can end with a spooky photo at the selfie station. This is not only their way of celebrating the holiday but also a way to promote childhood literacy. The library generally gives away around 2,000 books during the event.
