VINCENNES, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Good Samaritan will be having Lung Cancer Screening Days at the beginning of November.
Those who are eligible include people from the ages of 50 to 77 and have a history of smoking, those who currently are showing no signs of pulmonary symptoms, and no other CT within the past year.
Good Samaritan’s Director of Medicine Practice Chelsanna Yager said the earlier they can detect these problems the better they are able to handle them.
“We can see in the world there are innovations happening every single day, and we have a very large population of lung cancer patients in this area so the earlier the detection, the better the outcome,” said Yager.
These screenings will take place on November 5 from 1:30-4:00 p.m. and November 12 from 8-11:30 a.m. Those interested in these screenings can call 812-885-6948.
