SULLIVAN COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Election preparations are underway in Sullivan Co. Officials say that things will look a little different this year.
Each county must prepare to cater to the needs of its citizens. Sullivan Co. is getting ready to try a new voting process by using vote centers. County clerk Tonya Bedwell says citizens can get involved as poll workers at the voting centers.
“Sullivan County is a vote center county now, which means you don’t have to live in a certain area and go to a precinct, you can go to where it’s most convenient,” Bedwell said. “We are having all 14 locations open, so for your convenience, you just go where it’s most convenient for you.”
