TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology was once again ranked No. 1 as ‘Nation’s Best Undergraduate Engineering College’ in U.S. News & World Report.
According to the 2025 U.S. News & World Report’s Best Colleges Guide, Rose-Hulman’s quality and value of academic programs, facilities, and career preparedness have earned the college recognition as the No. 1 ranked undergraduate science, engineering, and mathematics college.
The recognition marks the 26th consecutive year that Rose-Hulman has topped the national publication’s annual survey.
According to a media release, Rose-Hulman outscored 286 colleges in the category, including Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering in Massachusetts, Harvey Mudd College in California, United States Military Academy at West Point in New York, and Bucknell University in Pennsylvania.
Rose-Hulman also earned No. 1 rankings nationally in electrical and mechanical engineering academic departments.
The school’s civil engineering and computer engineering program ranked No. 2, while computer science ranked among the top 10% of the nation’s undergraduate programs.
