TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— Terre Haute McDonald’s locations will be raising money for the Vigo County Education Foundation on September 18.
According to a press release, locally-owned McDonald’s will be hosting the city-wide fundraiser for the third year. On September 18, a portion of the proceeds from in-store and mobile orders will go to the Vigo County Education Foundation.
“We are so excited and appreciative that Nick and Jami Kasprzyk are once again graciously and generously investing in Vigo County School Corporation (VCSC) teachers and students in this fun, meaningful (and tasty) way! These funds are used to help teachers infuse their classrooms with creativity, innovation, and hands-on learning opportunities. Just this past August the Vigo County Education Foundation awarded over $86,000 to VCSC teachers, and the Kasprzyks helped make this possible. We are immensely grateful.”
To participate, all you have to do is visit the store or order on the app on September 18.
“The Vigo County Education Foundation does amazing things for the children in our community, and we’re proud to support the work they do with this annual fundraiser,” said Jami Kasprzyk, local McDonald’s Owner/Operator.
The Vigo County Education Foundation serves 13,000 students and 1,100 teachers in 23 local schools. Their mission is to “provide funding to enhance learning opportunities at every Vigo County School Corporation classroom through programs and projects that enhance and enrich public education”.
