SULLIVAN, Ind. (WTWO-WAWV) — A parent in Sullivan County shared a letter, with WTWO, that was sent to Southwest School Corporation parents.
The letter from Superintendent Chris Stitzle addressed rumors about a possible threat to schools.
It said “no credible threat was found targeting our school corporation.” It also said the schools mentioned in the Snapchat group were from a list of Georgia schools receiving Title One funding.
Sullivan County Sheriff Jason Bobbitt said the following: “We have been advised of the situation and we will do our due diligence to protect the students and staff of our schools and the corporations.”
