Cajun Café, 3401 S. US Hwy 41 A-12 (3 Critical, 3 Non-Critical) Observed employee drinks on prep surfaces and without lids. Observed cooked chicken and crab rangoon filling in walk in cooler without proper date markings. Observed cooked chicken in food warmer at 125F, should be 135F or higher. Observed mayonnaise in a squeeze bottle sitting at room temperature. Should be kept at 41F or lower.
Kroger J-911 & Fuel Center, 2140 Ft. Harrison Rd. (3 Critical, 3 Non-Critical) Found employees and manager lacking knowledge of policies and procedures in regards to cleaning frequency of potentially hazardous food equipment. Observed meat slicers and chicken breading station not cleaned within proper time limits and no record of cleaning schedule. Observed accumulated black, fuzzy and blue debris on dairy shelves and deli shelves. Observed accumulated pooled meat juices in bottom of island coolers and white fuzzy debris on ready to eat meat shelving.
Denny’s Restaurant #138, 233 S. 3rd St. (1 Critical, 3 Non-Critical) Observed shredded cheese in multiple coolers at 48-56F. Shall be held at 41F or below.
Subway (Deep Royal 29, LLC), 1735 N. 3rd St. (1 Critical, 2 Non-Critical) Observed accumulated black debris on inside of ice machine. Found sliced bell peppers stored in used cardboard box.
The Bush Family Restaurant, 932 Locust St. (1 Critical, 1 Non-Critical) Observed deli ham and cheese slices at 57-58F. Shall be 41F or less.
