TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – Music at the Crossroads brought in thousands of people last week.
The event was a music festival that benefitted the Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Wabash Valley. If you weren’t able to make it to that event, they are also having the Balloon Festival this weekend.
Chief Operator for Chances and Services for Youth Brandon Halleck said events like these help raise money for kids associated with CASY.
“This Friday (September 13) and Saturday (September 14) at Fairbanks Park. Gates open at 4:30. It’s from 5 to 10 p.m. We’ll have an evening bloom glow around 7:45, 8. We have food vendors, live music, there are tethered balloon rides. So if folks want to be adventurous and go up in a hot air balloon for $20. And again all of the money raised go for Chances and Services for Youth,” he said.
