CLAY COUNTY, Ind. (WAWV/WTWO)– Tuesday afternoon, Clay County deputies responded to an incident on I-70, regarding a man who sustained injuries after jumping from a moving vehicle.
According to press release sent by Clay County Sheriff Brison Swearingen, deputies responded and located a 21-year-old man from Tennessee, injured after exiting a moving vehicle near mile marker 23 of I-70. That man, reported to deputies that he has been in an altercation with the driver, whom he reported he didn’t know. The victim told deputies he exited the vehicle during an altercation with the driver.
The press release goes on to say, the victim was then transported to a Terre Haute hospital for treatment. At the hospital, deputies attempted to gather more information, but the victim became uncooperative.
