TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – The Indiana State University Alumni Association is hosting its Join in July Membership Drive.
The association partnered with Culver’s on Wednesday to serve frozen custard as they got school alumni to sign up for membership. The association helps alumni stay connected and engaged with ISU. The funds that are raised through membership go toward providing scholarships and other learning opportunities for ISU students.
“Not only does it get a people excited about the alumni association and what we are able to provide, the opportunities we’re able to fund for our students whether it’s a scholarships or funding experiential learning opportunities,” said Jeremiah Turner, Associate Vice President for University Advancement. “The support that we get through our membership program helps fund those things, but it also creates opportunities for our alumni to be connected stay engaged and be a part of the life of Indiana State.”
