BICKNELL, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)– The Knox County Fair is in full swing.
They have a full schedule of events this week including, a rodeo, pig pinning, the demolition derby, and more. Fair officials say, even though the weather is hot, people should still come out and enjoy the fair atmosphere. They expect anywhere from 2,500 to 5,000 visitors to come to the fair each day.
Will McCormick is the Vice President of the Knox County Fair and he says, the county fair brings people together.
“The fair is a true community event. It brings everybody from the county, northern part, southern part. There’s lifelong friends made through 4-H, through the fair, people you may not even see, even though we’re a small county, you still get to see them once a year and rekindle those friendships.”
