SULLIVAN, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Car lovers had a busy day, as the show in Sullivan was one of several in the area.
Dozens of people came to the Sullivan City Park to enjoy the show. In addition to the sweet rides, visitors could also indulge in some lemon shake-ups and food trucks.
The Friends of the Park and members of the city parks board helped to organize the event. Mayor JD Wilson says it was a blessing for the city.
“We had several entries. I think Aaron just told me 53 entries were down here today,” Wilson said. “We passed out awards, it was a beautiful day down here, sunny and 70 always in the city of Sullivan right. This event was a special event down here this Saturday.”
The next event at the park will be a garden tractor pull on July 20.
