TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— The Commons at Honey Creek’s assisted living apartments has received a perfect rating from the Indiana State Department of Health.
Yesterday The Commons at Honey Creek was awarded with a deficiency-free annual state inspection. A deficiency-free rating is the highest score that senior communities can get on an annual survey conducted by the department. This kind of rating is only given out to a small percentage of communities in any given year. The criteria that makes up the assessment includes checking cleanliness, checking out the ratio of staffing, and overall quality of care of its residents. The Commons achieving a rank like this means that they scored 100% in compliance with the state and federal regulations.
The Commons says they adhere to the core practices of the American Senior Communities commitment to compassion, accountability, relationships, and excellence.
“These values serve as the guiding principles that lead us every day as we serve our residents, families and employees” says CEO Steve Van Camp. “We are incredibly proud of our team for demonstrating these values in an exceptional and consistent way. A deficiency-free survey is only possible when a team is highly aligned in their level of dedication and commitment.”
