PUTNAM COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Update: As of 3:25 p.m. Sgt. Matt Ames said all lanes had been reopened.
Original: Traffic was restricted along Interstate 70 eastbound following a dump truck crash.
According to Indiana State Police Public Information Officer Sgt. Matt Ames, the crash occurred near the 31 mile marker of eastbound I-70.
Ames said the dump truck had been driving westbound on I-70 when it experienced a tire blow out on the drivers side. The vehicle then travelled into the median through a guide wire and then rolled over and came to a stop in the eastbound driving lane.

The right lane has been shut down to traffic in the area as crews work to clean up the wreckage. The driver of the truck was taken to an area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
As of 1:08 p.m., Ames said cleanup is expected to take at least an hour. Drivers are asked to seek an alternate route or use extreme caution while travelling through the area.
