UPDATE: In a post Saturday morning, the Vigo County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed one person was killed after being hit by a car on Illiana Drive.
According to police, 57-year-old Aaron Ray of West Terre Haute was driving the vehicle shortly before 11:00 p.m. Friday when the crash occurred. The victim has been identified as Bradley Padgett, a 45-year-old from West Terre Haute.
Ray tested positive for methamphetamines and was later arrested. He faces a charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated resulting in death.
TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO-WAWV) — An accident involving a pedestrian and vehicle took place in West Terre Haute Friday evening.
Vigo County Dispatch confirmed that it received a call about the accident at 10:46 pm. Dispatch says the incident occurred at the intersection of W. Illiana Drive and Crews.
