WASHINGTON, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Police say a handgun being stolen in Oklahoma led to the arrest of five individuals in Washington, Indiana.
According to the Washington Police Department, an Oklahoma resident contacted them on Tuesday regarding a theft of a gun and several other items from their residence. The Oklahoman said the person they believed had stolen the items was heading to Washington, Indiana. The person provided police with the name of Andrew Jason Foster and gave them a vehicle description.
Detectives located the vehicle in question the following day, and learned that Foster was wanted out of Pike County on unrelated charges.

Investigators then searched Foster’s residence which led to the arrest of four more people. Police said in the search the handgun that is believed to have been stolen from Oklahoma was found, as well as a second handgun, and items reportedly related to drug use and distribution.
