FARMERSBURG, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The Indiana Department of Natural Resources has announced the winners of the Preservation Month Photo contest.
According to a release from the Indiana DNR, the Indiana Department of Natural Resources Division of Historic Preservation & Archaeology holds an annual photo contest that covers multiple categories and ages that focuses on Indiana history and preservation.
The release notes that the winners’ photos will be shared on the DNR’s Instagram account (@Indianadnr) throughout the month of May.
The winners in each category are as follows:
- Altered:
- Tim Underhill (Muncie, Ind.)
- Photo subject | Frog Baby Fountain on campus of Ball State University
- Black and White:
- Jennifer Minnis (Paris, Ill.)
- Photo subject | Cannonball Bridge over Wabash River in Knox County
- Color:
- David Wright (Lafayette, Ind.)
- Photo subject | Prophetstown State Park
- Kids:
- August Rumschlag (Indianapolis, Ind.)
- Photo subject | Indiana State Capitol and the Soldiers and Sailors Monument, downtown Indianapolis
