KNOX COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – T.J. Brink the Republican incumbent in the Knox County Commissioner’s race for District 1, discussed some of his goals if he were to be reelected.
Brink said that he will focus on getting funding to continue improving the roadways in Knox County.
He also wants to keep chipping away at the housing stock crisis the county is in and said that they are currently making big strides in that area.
Brink added that there is nothing more important in Knox County than the people.
“I think that is what it comes down to most of all is listening to the people and hearing what their concerns are,” he said. “We work for them; they do not work for us. At the end of the day, as long as we can sit down and have a respectful dialogue with folks, that is what it is all about.”
More information on local elections will be available as election day approaches. Election Day is May 7.
