LINTON, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — In an effort to show appreciation for healthcare workers during National Hospital Week, Greene County General Hospital employees are being honored with flowers.
According to a release from Greene County General Hospital, the foundation is partnering with Gina’s Watering Can Flower Shop in Linton to show support and appreciation for local healthcare workers. People in the community can order flowers to be delivered to GCGH employees with each flower being 5.00 and including a personalized card.
All the proceeds from the flower purchases will go towards the Greene County General Hospital Foundation, “Proceeds from these flower sales go to GCGH Foundation, which serves our community and provides support to GCGH advancements and improvements by promoting philanthropic sponsorship,” the release reads.
The flowers are intended for any GCGH employee, along with My Clinics, TeamOrtho, and Surgcare employees.
