TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)– One Indiana State student organization celebrated its members and all of their different cultures in an end-of-the-year event on campus Saturday night.
Dozens gathered for a global night celebration hosted by the African Student Union. This included a number of performances and the introduction of the group’s leadership for next year.
One member of the organization, Pelumi Adebowle, spoke about the significance of nights like this for students.
“It gives you a sense of a community, like brother to me and sister, so you have a sense of belonging to the place in the family campus,” he said.
ISU Graduation will take place on Saturday, May 11th.
