CLAY COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Multiple agencies responded to a fire in Brazil.
According to the Clay County Dispatch, the fire was located in the 9000 block of N. Kennedys Crossing Road.
Officials noted the Dick Johnson Volunteer Fire Department was the leading agency.
A local business, Lynch’s Garden Center, commented on the fire and stated the following:
“There is a fire on the property. Multiple fire departments have responded. The garden center and sales building are intact and they are doing everything they can to contain the fire. Everyone is SAFE!”

The fire did spread to a nearby house.
The fire chief of the Dick Johnson Volunteer Fire Department also confirmed to our crew on the scene there were no injuries.
