MARTINSVILLE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A Morgan County attorney has been arrested for corrupt business influences, theft, counterfeiting, and more after an investigation was launched by Indiana State Police.
According to a release from ISP, a warrant for the arrest of 43-year-old James K. Wisco of Martinsville was issued from a Morgan County court for the following charges:
- Corrupt Business Influence | Level 5 Felony (1 Count)
- Theft | Level 6 Felony (13 Counts)
- Counterfeiting | Level 6 Felony (7 Counts)
- Official Misconduct | Level 6 Felony (1 Count)
The investigation was launched in December of 2023 after reports of alleged theft and forgery involving Wisco were brought to ISP.
