TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – Small businesses set up shop in the historic area Saturday afternoon.
The event drew around 20 vendors, who sold a variety of things like vintage clothing and handmade goods. There were also food trucks for when people worked up an appetite.
Jonathan Phendler, owner of Oddly Cosmic Vintage, is grateful for events like these in order to connect with people they would not ordinarily find.
“I used to sell online a lot,” he said. “When you pop up you get face-to-face interaction with people and you get to sell it more locally as opposed to somewhere in New York or Idaho or any of the other 48 states.”
Events for small businesses continue to be a bright spot in Vigo County, and this time 12 Points gets in on the action.
The newly-revitalized area continues to bring people to Terre Haute.
