TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Police are investigating a reported bank robbery in downtown Terre Haute.
According to Terre Haute Police, the robbery occurred at The Hometown Savings Bank located at 533 Ohio Blvd.
“Preliminary reports indicate that the suspect displayed a handgun during the incident. Fortunately, no injuries were reported,” THPD Sgt. Justin Sears wrote.
A WTWO reporter on scene spotted several police cars around the building and patrolling the surrounding area.
THPD is asking anyone with information to contact police at 812-238-1661.
