TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Whether you’re going out of town or just trying to get to work, gas prices can be expensive.
According to GasBuddy, the average gas price in Indiana is $3.70. Just last month the average was $3.30, that’s a 40 cent difference. The national average is $3.60, which is slightly lower than what it is in Indiana.
We spoke with some folks about how they feel about prices rising again.
“My car is pretty good on gas, but I know my parents do sometimes, so it’s a struggle. But maybe they can go down just a little bit,” Terre Haute resident Hailee Diekhoff said.
“They’re absolutely insane right now. I remember when I first started driving you can get a get three quarters of a full tank for 20, 25 bucks. Now you can’t even get even get a full tank for 60 or 70 bucks,” Terre Haute resident Jaden Smith said.
