LOOGOOTEE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Four people were arrested for multiple drug-related charges on Thursday, April 4.
According to the Loogtooee Police Department, after a 2 month investigation, led to the search of the home of Rodney Bateman, 55, of Loogootee.
The investigation led to the discovery of the following drugs and paraphernalia:
- Around 6 grams of methamphetamine
- Methamphetamine smoking paraphernalia including pipes, spoons, and syringes that tested positive for methamphetamine
- About 3 pounds of marijuana
- DMA
- Multiple different controlled substances
- Multiple other items of paraphernalia
The Martin County Sheriff’s Department assisted in the search.
Multiple people were arrested as a result. Their names and charges are as follows:
- Rodney Bateman, 55, Loogootee:
- Dealing in Methamphetamine | Level 3 felony
- Possession of Methamphetamine | Level 5 felony
- Possession of a Hypodermic Syringe | Level 6 felony
- Maintaining a Common Nuisance | Level 6 felony
- Dealing in Marijuana | Class A misdemeanor
- Possession of Paraphernalia | Class C misdemeanor
- Paula Mitchell, 55, Loogootee:
- Dealing in Methamphetamine | Level 3 felony
- Possession of Methamphetamine | Level 5 felony
- Possession of a Hypodermic Syringe | Level 6 felony
- Maintaining a Common Nuisance | Level 6 felony
- Dealing in Marijuana | Class A misdemeanor
- Possession of Paraphernalia | Class C misdemeanor
- Christina Lytton, 50, Martinsville:
- Visiting a Common Nuisance | Class B misdemeanor
- Possession of Marijuana | Class B misdemeanor
- Possession of Paraphernalia | Class C misdemeanor
- Emily Osborne, 39, Alfordsville:
- Visiting a Common Nuisance | Class B misdemeanor
