VINCENNES, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)– A man was killed Saturday morning after being struck by a train in Vincennes.
69-year-old Mark Moffett was struck by a train while on his lawn mower at a CSX Railroad Crossing on S. 14th Street, according to a release from the Knox County Coroner’s Office.
“The Knox County Coroner’s Office wishes to extend its heartfelt condolences to Mr. Moffett’s family and loved ones during this difficult time,” the release states. “Our thoughts are with them as they mourn this devastating loss.”
The incident remains under investigation by the Vincennes Police Department.
