SULLIVAN COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)– One person was killed and five others seriously injured in a crash Saturday evening in Sullivan County.
According to Sheriff Jason Bobbit, the crash occurred just before 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of County Road 400 W and Old State Road 54.
82-year-old Mary Beth Olson died as a result of her injuries. Two others, including a child, were airlifted to Indianapolis hospitals for treatment. Three others suffered serious injuries in the wreck, and were treated at local hospitals.
Bobbitt said there are no indications drugs or alcohol were a factor, and glare from the sun may have been a factor.
