TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A local tax preparation business is continuing a tradition, of helping people in need in the community.
On Thursday, Stadler and Company provided about 400 tax returns at no charge. It’s for clients who are low-income and meet a few other criteria. Owner Lori Carpenter said being involved in the community and showing they care is important for the business.
She said this event is something they’ll absolutely continue.
“I started with this company in 2011 and it was already running with our founder Andy Stadler, and so I think it’s a great thing that he started and we are thrilled to still continue to do this,” Carpenter explained.
Carpenter also noted this event gets booked up fast with people calling as early as January 1 to make their appointments.
