GREENE COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Update: According to the Greene County Sheriff’s Office, the missing juvenile has been found and is safe.
The juvenile’s name and image has been removed from the story to protect their privacy.
Original: Law enforcement are asking for the public’s help in locating a juvenile who they said is missing after reportedly running away from home.
According to the Greene County Sheriff’s Department, a 16-year-old girl was last seen on Sunday, March 17 at 6 p.m. near Worthington, Indiana.
The teen is reportedly 5’3″ and has long blonde/brown hair and hazel colored eyes. She was last seen wearing red plaid pajama pants and a gray hooded sweatshirt.
The Sheriff’s Office noted that she does not have access to her cell phone, and it was unknown if she left on foot or in a vehicle.
