TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Thursday evening Team of Mercy hosted an exclusive event for a night of good vibes.
The Spirits and Cigars event was hosted at the Red Barn at Sycamore Farm. The event was a celebration of the finest spirits and cigars in an ambiance of high sophistication. Attendees also experienced a dinner with a crafted menu designed to complement the flavors of the spirits and cigars, by chef Kris Kraut.
Executive Director Christina Crist said it’s a great way to get the community together.
“Coming together for such a cause of mental health and suicide prevention, I mean look at all the laughs. You know we have to add some laughs around such a dark topic.”
All proceeds raised goes to Team of Mercy, which is a nonprofit organization aiming to assist survivors following the loss of a loved one to suicide.
