VIGO COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Officials with the Vigo County School Corporation have announced the cancellation of multiple activities Friday evening due to snow hitting the area.
According to VCSC Chief Communications Officer Katie Shane, all evening activities have been canceled.
That includes the Terre Haute South boys basketball game against Southport, the West Vigo Middle School Valentine’s Dance, and the Terre Haute North Dance Marathon.
“As snow continues to fall throughout the county, and keeping in mind the travel of students, staff, student-athletes and student drivers, VCSC has announced that all evening activities, Friday February 16, are canceled,” Shane said.
The events will be rescheduled for a future date.
