TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO-WAWV)– One local business is trying to bring out the artistic side of children for the holiday season.
Makers Studio at 12 Points held a class on Saturday that taught children how to assemble their own gingerbread houses. This allowed them to be able to work with their hands and be able to bring out their creative side as well.
Makers Studio has been very busy this month as they have provided multiple art and social gatherings to try and bring the community together. Yvette morgan is the owner, and she expresses the love she has for events like these.
“I have met so many people from just having my studio that I would have never met before. I am just sharing my love of arts and crafts with the community and that brings me so much happiness because people really do enjoy it,” said Morgan.
She also wanted to add how much she enjoys teaching art to the youth of the community.
“I love working with the children of this community. It brings me so much joy to see their faces as they learn new things. The way their imagination works when they are given a platform to show it off is truly heartwarming,” added Morgan.
Makers Studio’s next event will be their Little Bear Canvas Nite at Little Bear Coffee Co. on December 29.
