TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — According to the U.S. News & World Report 2024 survey, the American Senior Communities’ Springhill Village has been named “Best Nursing Home.”
According to a release from American Senior Communities, the U.S. News & World Report is “the global authority in health care rankings and consumer advice, provides trusted and unbiased annual rankings of nursing homes that help consumers and families decide where to go to receive quality rehabilitation and nursing home care.”
The 2024 survey included over 15,000 nursing homes and evaluated them on resident and patient outcomes in various categories such as staffing levels, infection rates, health inspection results, and other quality indicators. In order to be recognized, the nursing home must be rated as “high performing” in short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, or both.
American Senior Communities focuses on the core values of the company which include Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence (CARE).

Half of the 24 communities in the state to earn the distinction are managed by American Senior Communities.
