PARKE COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A man was arrested for possession of meth after local law enforcement responded to reports of a campfire underneath a historic covered bridge.
According to a release from the Parke County Sheriff’s Office, on Sunday, October 22 around 12:30 a.m., deputies responded to the historic Mansfield Covered Bridge. Upon arrival, law enforcement quickly extinguished the fire and began an investigation.
Colten Branham, 22, of Rosedale, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and paraphernalia. Branham was then taken to the Parke County Jail with an initial band of $10,000.
