CASEY, Illinois (WTWO/WAWV) — Illinois State Police are conducting a death investigation after a person was found dead in Casey, Illinois on Thursday.
According to Illinois State Police Trooper Josh Robinson, the Clark County Sheriff’s Department requested the assistance of ISP CDI Zone 8 investigations after a 49-year-old male was found dead in an open field near Route 49 in Casey.
At this time, ISP said it appears to be an isolated incident.
