TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Get ready to rev your engines and have an exciting weekend at Rally in the Valley.
The inaugural motorcycle event is coming to the Vigo County Fairgrounds, September 8-9. Harley Davidson enthusiasts will have a chance to gather at the fairgrounds with camping, vendors, food trucks, other special events and open drags at the Wabash Valley Dragway. There will also be a weekend long free concert, starting Friday night at 6 p.m., and Saturday starting at 3 p.m.
The event is free with available camping spots and ticket upgrades. To reserve a camping spot and purchase VIP tickets, visit their website.
Fairgrounds Manager Jenny Hamilton said this event is a way to grow with the community.
“There’s nothing really locally that involves motorcycle rallies. We know it’s a big group of people and when the weather is beautiful like this we want to be bale to encourage people to come out and enjoy the fairgrounds,” Hamilton said.
