TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO / WAWV) — The second Wine on the Wabash event of the season will kick off this weekend with live music, food, and, of course, wine!
It will be held this Saturday at Fairbanks Park in Terre Haute. Gates open at 5:00 p.m. live music starts at 6:00 p.m. organizers want you to pack your own lawn chairs or blankets.
Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 the day of the show. Admission for kids 12 and under is free.
Baley Halberstadt with HI 99 Radio is helping to organize the event. She says, if you attended the first event earlier this summer, you’ll notice a big difference in the type of performers that will perform live. Saturday, the Hairbanger’s Ball, Mullet Over, and Tommy Kelly Band will perform.
“It’s something to look forward to,” says Halberstadt. “It’s something that engages the community and, we’re going to have some of our vendors there too. For the business aspect, it gives people the opportunity to engage, and just go out and enjoy themselves; a really fun, unique event that we’re hoping becomes a tradition for folks in the area.”
