VERMILLION COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A man and woman from Cayuga have been arrested following an investigation into allegations of child sex crimes.
According to Indiana State Police, a joint investigation by ISP and the Vermillion County Sheriff’s Department began on April 20 after a tip was received from the North Vermillion Community School Corporation.
ISP Sgt. Matt Ames said that investigation led to a conversation with the county prosecutor on May 23. That same day both Jeremy Lock, 38, and Angela Lock, 34 were arrested and taken to the Vermillion County Jail.
ISP listed the following charges for each;
- Jeremy Lock
- Child molestation fondling or touching with a child under 14 (x5)
- A level 1 felony
- Obstruction of justice
- A level 6 felony
- Possession of child pornography
- A level 6 felony
- Child molestation fondling or touching with a child under 14 (x5)
- Angela Lock
- Child molestation fondling or touching with a child under 14
- A level 1 felony
- Possession of child pornography
- A level 6 felony
- Child molestation fondling or touching with a child under 14
Court records indicate Jeremy Lock is next due in court on August 2 for a review hearing with a jury trial scheduled for August 29 in Vermillion County Circuit Court. Angela Lock is scheduled for a pre-trial hearing on December 19, with a jury trial scheduled for March 12, 2024.
