TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Tuesday was an exciting day for the Vigo County 4-H alpaca and llama club at the Vigo County Fair.
The club members have been busy training their animals and on Tuesday they got to show off that hard work during their yearly competition.
The club started in 2011 with just three members and has since grown exponentially to now count 15 participants.

Maya Nagy is one of those 15, we caught up with her at the show and asked about what it is she enjoys about the animals and the program.
“We work really hard together, we practice with our animals, we teach each other about what classes we might experience, how to act, how to talk to the judge, how to talk to the public about what we’re doing,” Nagy said.
