WEST TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Starting Friday, you can show a local community support, by visiting local businesses.
“A Taste of West Terre Haute” is a great way to try new local shops, all while supporting West Vigo High School. Local shops like Macksville Coffee Company, Helping Hands, Jolly Pines Tree Farm and Ice Creams, and more will have specials to offer customers as part of the event.
Principal of West Vigo Ryan Easton says it’s a great way to support the community.
“It’s always a cool thing our community can come together, you know the students have worked hard in the past to make this happen, and our local businesses and groups are always wanting to help each other out,” Easton said.
This lasts until Saturday, May 6, and If you visit at least four of the locations you will be able to attend the West Vigo Baseball game for free Friday night at 7 p.m.
